Old Maid is a shedding-type card game for three or more players that uses a standard deck of 52 cards. The game’s objective is to avoid being the player left holding the single unmatched card, the “Old Maid”.
The game is played by dealing all of the cards to the players evenly. Players then take turns drawing a card from the player to their left and discarding a card from their hand. If a player has a pair of cards of the same rank, they may discard them. The game continues until one player is left holding the Old Maid card.
